A FREE Sneak Preview:
Club Dread (2004)
February 24, 2004 at 8:00pm in 26-100.
This is the third feature film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers,
Puddle Cruiser), and for the first time, Chandrasekhar stars in the film as well.
A non-stop booze-soaked party on an island resort owned by Coconut Pete (Bill
Paxton) takes a disturbing turn for the weird when dead bodies start turning up
faster than you could drink a rum punch. The murder suspects include all of the
colorful characters around, including a Fun Policeman with a super-soaker full
of tequila, an oversexed fitness instructor, a flamboyant driving instructor
with a secret third-world past, a bratty-British tennis coach (Chandrasekhar),
and several others. Can the inhabitants of Pleasure Island unite, solve the
mystery, and restore happy hour to this tropical bacchanal?
