Local hero Fong Sai Yuk (Jet Li) earns his sweetheart's hand in marriage
through a kung-fu competition held by her father, Tiger Lu, a recently
installed Manchu governor. Mother Fong (Josephine Siao), also a fierce
fighter, wins the heart of Tiger Lu's wife in combat, and the emperor's
troops are after the whole family because Father Fong (Paul Chu Kong) is a
member of the anti-Manchu Red Flower Society. The amazing stuntwork and the
brilliant comedy-of-errors plot make this movie stand apart from other Hong
Kong action flicks. This film will be shown with English subtitles.
