- Female Perversions (1996)
Voyeurism, fetishism, exhibitionism, necrophilia - why do men have all
the fun? It tells the story of Evelyn Stevens, a high powered lawyer
trying to win a judgeship while trying to be the perfect woman. She
is also a perfect disaster. Shop-a-holic and bulimic, she's also
addicted to lipstick, codependant on her dry cleaner, manipulative,
and deeply superstitious. Based on the book by psychoanalyst Louise
Kaplan, this film studies the obsessions of "normal" women with all
things feminine.

- The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1919)
A fascinating exercise in psychological horror, this German
classic focuses on the mysterious Dr. Caligari and his sideshow
attraction Cesare, a somnambulist whom he keeps in a coffin-like box
by day and sends out at night to kidnap or kill. The sets, costumes,
make-up and acting, all reflecting the prefailing influence of
expressionism, combin to express the disturbed mental states of the
characters. With LIVE piano accompanyment by Prof. Marty Marks. This
movie is playing as a double feature with with Sherlock, Jr.
