merciless wit and tender mercy."       -- Manohla Dargis, Los Angeles Times. Read this review.
From Christopher Guest, who brought us 'This is Spinal Tap,' 'Waiting For
Guffman,' and 'Best in Show,' comes yet another hilarious mockumentary.
'A Mighty Wind' revolves around the memorial concert for folk icon Irving
Steinbloom. The concert, organized by his son, features Mitch and Micky
(Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara), a partnership torn apart by acrimonious
breakup, as well as several other too-weird-to-be-fake groups. By the end of
this movie, you'll wish these artists actually lived...as you walk away
humming their inspiring tunes.
